The party that exceeded expectations and made over £270!
An event to raise money for the Claypond’s Youth Club was planned by our Youth Club attendees, Godwin, Kario, Harmony, Melody, Nyah, Saoirse, Ella, Hope, and Faith. On the night we had music, face painting, food & drinks, party games, and Halloween-themed competitions.
The Halloween party exceeded expectations as the venue had a capacity of 50, which reached maximum capacity within half an hour. This led to us turning away some eager parents and children. Although we turned away many people, we still made £176 through the entry fee and face painting, with the rest coming from raffles and food.
We want to give a special thank you to Bossa Nova Cafe in South Ealing that contributed cakes and sweet bags. As well as the volunteers and the staff that helped that day!
